CAMERAS? CAMERAS? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKIN’ CAMERAS!
ARIZONA WAS THE FIRST STATE TO DEPLOY HIGHWAY CAMERAS TO MAKE THE ROADS SAFER.

NICE.
SPEEDERS ARE TICKETED THROUGH THE MAIL.
BUT NOT SO FAST.
ARIZONIANS FEEL THAT THE CAMERAS ARE TOO INTRUSIVE, AND THUS, HAVE
VANDALIZED OR COVERED MANY OF THEM.
MOST OF THE TICKETS ARE NOT BEING PAID.
VIOLATORS MUST, ACCORDING TO LAW, BE SERVED IN PERSON WITHIN THREE MONTHS, OTHERWISE THE TICKETS BECOME INVALID.
OVERTAXED PROCESS SERVERS CAN’T HANDLE THE VOLUME, SO, MOST OF THE CITATIONS GO UNPAID.
THE COURTS HAVE BECOME OVERWHELMED BY THE ONSLAUGHT OF IGNORED TICKETS.
THE MUCH HERALDED LAW ABIDING CITIZENS OF ARIZONA ARE DEMANDING A MEASURE TO BAN THE CAMERAS.
THE POINT?

TUNE IN NEXT TIME FOR…
ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, DRIVERS, AND THE MEXICAN-AMERICAN WAR

Looks like Big brother could use some more relatives...So now we are going to need more law enforcement officers to protect the citizens from immigrants and support photography.
HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT. ONE PROBLEM IS OF NO IMPORTANCE, THE OTHER PROBLEM IS DESTROYING THE BASIC FABRIC OF AMERICA.
IF YOU THINK YOU CAN COMPARE RED LIGHTS TO THE INVASION OF THIS COUNTRY YOU NEED YEARS OF THERAPY.
So, train the camaras on the border, identify illegals, catch up with them at a Taco Bell and give them a ticket.
DEAR ROCKER
HOMELAND SECURITY HAS REPLACED AGRICULTURE AND MANUFACTURING.
MR. IMPALER,
I AGREE. I'M NOT SURE MYSELF, WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT.
ANYWAY...
IT MIGHT BE NICE IF YOU WAITED TO READ MY THOUGHTS ON THE IMMIGRATION ISSUE BEFORE YOU DECIDE THAT I NEED THERAPY.
AS FOR THE SPEED CAMERAS...IT'S IRONIC THAT PEOPLE WHO SEE THEMSELVES AS LAW-AND-ORDER FOLKS,
WANT TO PICK AND CHOOSE THE LAWS THEY'LL OBEY.
DEAR MISTER NO-NAME,
TACO BELL?
JEEPERS...WILL THEY BE WEARING SOMBREROS AND PLAYING WITH JUMPING BEANS?
Quicksand:
Maybe sombreros, perhaps jumping beans, but definitely fancy hub caps!
YOUR RIGHT QUICKSAND, I SPOKE TOO SOON AND I APOLOGIZE. I ANTICIPATE YOUR ARTICLE ON ILLEGALS.
dearest quick~ law abiding reaches a stopping point when it pertains to traffic violations...it's the one area most citizens will try to get one over on enforcement. Ask any cop how many drivers admit to speeding when stopped...
From what I understand, AZ is overrun and has become a sluiceway for undocumented peoples from our border to the south, mainly because their neighbors have already made it too difficult to pass thru.
I really don't believe this was done to actually enforce this, more to push the government's hand to act...out of frustration.
And, speaking of Homeland Security, as of last week, seems this 10 page law was too much to actually get through to read. What? What the hell is that? An issue that has incited such passion in the country, and the time isn't taken to read this thing? And, I believe Obama's comments are inciting and idiotic, almost thought Sharpton was going to pop up next to the podium. And with the president of Mexico standing beside him, in agreement...don't get me started, but, I already have.
Arizona will probably modify this law as time goes by, and hopefully, the gov't will do what they should have doing for the past 20 years.
okay, think I'm done for this moment...
mad poster,
don't forget low-riders.
dear rthgrl,
my next entry will deal with this.
we have allowed ourselves to be caught between two nasty choices.
let everyone stay...deport everyone.
