THE CHEESE WON'T STAND ALONE

THE BLAZING POPULARITY OF JOHN McCAIN’S RUNNING MATE, SARAH PALIN, HAS CREATED A QUANDARY FOR THE TOP OF THE TICKET.

NAMELY…WE MAY NEVER AGAIN SEE MR. McCAIN CAMPAIGN WITHOUT HER BY HIS SIDE.
ALTHOUGH SHE WILL APPEAR ALONE, (AS SHE DID RECENTLY ), HIS SOLO DAYS MIGHT BE OVER.

IT SEEMS THAT PRE-PALIN McCAIN WAS DRAWING MODEST-SIZED CROWDS.

NOW, HUGE CROWDS TURN OUT SINCE PALIN JOINED THE TICKET AND SHARES THE PODIUM.

SO, IF THEY WERE TO CAMPAIGN SEPARATELY, IT MIGHT PROVE TO BE TOO EMBARRASSING TO HAVE PALIN DRAW THOUSANDS WHILE McCAIN SPEAKS TO A GAGGLE OF SUPPORTERS.

"SO WHAT?" IS A FINE QUESTION.
AN EVEN BETTER QUESTION MIGHT BE "SO WHY?"

The cheese can't stand alone because once you get past the sympathetic prisioner most folks can't stand the Cheese... This Gorgonzola is more moldy the one in Elsinore castle!

ROCKER,
GOUDA COMMENT.
I LIKE THE WHEY YOU THINK.
YOU DESERVE A FETTA IN YOUR CAP!

I JUST WANT TO MAKE SURE WE DON'T WIND UP WITH ANOTHER MUNSTER IN THE WHITE HOUSE.

( OH GOD.....I HATE MYSELF!)

It's all about ratings...go with what works, and apparently Palin has given his campaign the boost he was looking for. Bet Obama is thinking he should have made the dual VP pick of the Clintonistas. He may have had to put up with some reigning-in the Slick Willy ego, but at least he would have had that chance. Looks like he might not pass through this storm unscathed, and Biden's comment that Hil would have been the better pick certainly didn't inspire confidence.
Oooh, and I LOVE the new pic, very dashing, such an air of aristocracy about you these days...

Frankly I don't understand any of the appeal of Palin with her tired ideas, half truths and modified beehive. But then again I didn't understand the appeal of King George II either.

I have a feeling that whatever her charm is it will have a very short shelf life. Within two weeks the novelty will have worn off. Then again that may just be wishful thinking on my part.
